Benefits for your customers
As required by law, users can withdraw their consent at any time. When they do, the installed cookies are deleted and consent is requested again.
- Banner content and customisation
To comply with the LSSI, the module lets you customise the message shown in the notice banner (to explain which cookies are used and why) and add a “More information” button that takes the user to a CMS page on your website (to explain in detail how cookies are used in your shop).
The notice banner is responsive and always spans the full width of the window. The module includes a WYSIWYG editor so you can fully customise the banner content (font, colour, effects, HTML code…). From the configuration page you can also choose the banner’s background colour, its opacity percentage (transparency) and its position (top, bottom or floating). The module is also multilingual and automatically detects all your shop’s languages, so you can write a different message for each one.
Note: we have built the module so that it does not appear when search engine robots crawl your website, so it will not affect your SEO.
- Lock the screen until cookies are accepted
To help your online shop lose as little information as possible, an option prevents customers from browsing until they accept the cookie policy: the screen stays locked until the user accepts cookies.
The module displays a pop-up to inform your customers about the use of cookies and ask for their consent to install them.
The module is multistore compatible and lets you display the same notice banner in each of your shops, but consent is shared across all of them. If a visitor accepts cookies in one of your shops, the module considers that cookies have been accepted in all your shops (state this in your Cookie Policy) and the notice banner will not appear again in the other shops.
