Which captcha can I use in PrestaShop: reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha or Cloudflare Turnstile?

With the Línea Gráfica anti-spam module, you can use any of them: Google reCaptcha v2 (checkbox), reCaptcha v3 (invisible), and hCaptcha or Cloudflare Turnstile as alternatives to Google. It protects the contact form, customer registration and newsletter sign-up.

How do I tune reCAPTCHA v3 so it doesn't block real customers?

You can set the minimum reCaptcha v3 score, which is 0.5 by default, and check rejected submissions and their scores in the back office. This shows you whether to lower or raise it. The log is purged automatically after 30 days.

Does the captcha store personal data or load scripts on every page?

It doesn't store personal data: the verification log keeps no IP addresses or customer data. The captcha script only loads when a form is used, and with v3 the token is requested when the form is submitted, so the script isn't loaded until it's needed.

Is the captcha module compatible with PrestaShop 8 and 9?

Yes. The Línea Gráfica captcha module is compatible with PrestaShop 1.7.0 through 9.2 and has been tested on PrestaShop 8.2.8 and 9.2.0. You can place the captcha on the contact, login and registration pages, or with a hook.
