Since 19 June 2026, Directive (EU) 2023/2673 requires online stores selling to EU consumers to offer a withdrawal function that stays visible for the whole withdrawal period: customers must be able to withdraw from the contract online, without calling or sending an email. This module adds that withdrawal button to your PrestaShop store, in the footer and in the customer account.

Customers fill in a two-step form, logged in or as guests, withdraw from the whole order or just some items and instantly receive an email acknowledgement of receipt with a PDF receipt. You approve or reject each request from the back office, with its deadline in view, the order status is updated and, if you wish, the merchandise return is created. Requests can be exported to CSV. Compatible with PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9, multistore and multilingual. More info

1. Set up the button

In the Settings tab you choose where the button appears (footer, customer account or both), whether it is a button or a link, its colours and its text in each language. You also set the withdrawal period, your withdrawal and privacy pages and the email addresses that receive requests.

2. The customer withdraws online

  • Clicks the withdrawal button in the footer or in their account, logged in or not
  • Step 1: enters their name, email and order reference
  • Step 2: picks the whole order or only some items and can add a comment
  • Instantly gets an email acknowledgement with a PDF receipt, and the store is notified

3. You handle the request

The Requests tab lists every request with the order, customer, type (full or partial), items and status. Approve it or reject it with a reason: the customer gets an email and the order moves to the withdrawal approved or rejected status, which they also see in their order history. You also see each request's deadline (counted from delivery), a notice of pending requests and a CSV export; if enabled, approving creates the PrestaShop merchandise return.
