Since 19 June 2026, every online shop selling to consumers in the European Union must offer a withdrawal function: a button that stays visible for the whole withdrawal period, a two-step form and an acknowledgement of receipt with date and time. This app adds it to your Shopify store in minutes, with the official wording of Directive (EU) 2023/2673 in all 24 EU languages.

What Directive (EU) 2023/2673 requires and how the app covers it

  • “Withdraw from contract here” button, always visible and with no login: floating button in the theme, on the thank-you page, the order status page and the customer account.
  • Two-step form that only asks for name, order (optional) and email, with the “Confirm withdrawal” button.
  • Acknowledgement on a durable medium: an email to the customer with what they declared, the date and the time.
  • 14-day period counted from delivery, with a notice when a request arrives late (it is never blocked).
  • Withdrawal policy and model form (Annex I-A and I-B) generated with your details.
  • Article 16 exceptions: personalised, perishable, sealed or digital products.

Less work on every return

If the order has not shipped yet, the app cancels and refunds it automatically. If it has shipped, it opens the return in Shopify and, once the parcel is back, you refund in one click from the request. Everything is logged in the admin, with filters, statuses and export.

FAQ

Is the withdrawal button mandatory for my store?

Yes, if you sell online to EU consumers. Directive (EU) 2023/2673 applies from 19 June 2026. If the function is missing, the withdrawal period can be extended to 12 months and 14 days.

Does the customer need to log in?

No. The form works without an account and the statement is always recorded, even if the order cannot be found.

Which languages are supported?

The button, form and receipt email are shown in the customer's language, in all 24 official EU languages, each with its official wording (“Vertrag widerrufen”, “Renoncer au contrat ici”, “Recedere dal contratto qui”…).

Do I need Shopify Plus?
