Remove the numbers from the URLs of products, categories, CMS pages, brands and suppliers (/clothes/men/t-shirt.html instead of /3-men/1-t-shirt.html). Old URLs redirect by themselves with a 301, there are never two identical URLs and you can test everything with your IP before your customers see it.

Why remove the IDs from PrestaShop URLs

PrestaShop URLs include the ID of the product or category (/3-men/1-t-shirt.html). This module replaces them with clean, readable, SEO-friendly URLs, without breaking anything you have already ranked. Every product, category, CMS page, brand and supplier gets a unique address per shop and language, stored in its own table: the module looks it up instead of guessing, so there are no mixed-up pages or surprise 404 errors.

Without losing rankings: automatic 301 redirects

All the old URLs with ID keep working and redirect with a 301 to the new one, and if you rename a product or move it to another category, the previous URL redirects too. If two items have the same name, the second one gets a suffix and you are warned in the back office so you can choose another one.

Test it first with your IP

Before turning it on for everyone, use test mode: only your IP sees the new URLs while you run the diagnostic, which opens every URL and tells you what to check. And if one day you turn it off, your shop goes back exactly to how it was. More info
