PrestaShop Custom Payment Methods Module with Fee or Discount by Payment Method

Create your own payment methods (bank transfer with your details, pay in store, pay in 30 days for businesses, financing with a link…) only for the customers, countries, carriers and amounts you choose, and add a surcharge or a discount to any payment method, also the ones of other modules, as one more line of the order and the invoice.

Custom payment methods for each customer

PrestaShop only comes with bank wire and cheque, and no way of charging more or less depending on how the customer pays. With this module you create every manual payment method you need, each one with its name, logo, description, instructions with the order details ({total}, {reference}…), order status and, if you want, a button to a financing or payment website. Decide who sees them: customer groups (pay in 30 days only for businesses), countries, carriers, currencies and order amount. The instructions reach the customer on the confirmation page, in the order history and by email.

Fee or discount depending on how they pay

You can also add a surcharge or a discount (fixed, percentage or both, with a minimum and a maximum) to any payment method of your shop, yours or another module's: −3% for bank transfer, +€1.50 for instalments… The customer sees the amount next to each payment method and the total before paying. The surcharge goes in as an order line with its tax and the discount as a voucher, so they appear correctly in the cart, the order, the invoice and the credit slips, without tweaking the totals behind the scenes.

And to save you support calls: the module warns you about rules that never apply, disabled payment methods, surcharges without tax or modules that already charge their own fee (such as the cash on delivery of lgcodform, which never gets a second one), and shows a preview of the amount while you create the rule.
