Prestashop Cash on Delivery Module: quick order from the product page and payment with surcharge

• «Order now, pay on delivery» button on the product page, with configurable position, colour and texts
• Order form in a pop-up window: no cart, no account and no checkout
• Supports combinations and quantity, and shows the total with shipping and surcharge before confirming
• Cash on delivery also available as a regular payment method at checkout
• Fixed or percentage surcharge, with minimum and maximum, added to the order's shipping costs
• Rules by zone, carrier and amount: a different surcharge, no surcharge or no cash on delivery
• Phone verification by SMS or WhatsApp with 9 providers (Twilio, Vonage, Infobip, Brevo, LabsMobile, Altiria, Meta...)
• Anti-fraud: maximum orders per phone number and per IP, and a block list managed from the order page
• Optional email, notes field, configurable order status, multistore and GDPR

Installation and configuration

Install it from Back office → Modules → Upload a module. In the module settings, choose the modes (button on the product page, payment at checkout or both), the surcharge, phone verification and the anti-fraud limits. Rules by zone, carrier and amount are created in Payment → Cash on delivery.

Customising the module

• Text, colour and position of the «Order now, pay on delivery» button, and form fields (email, notes, ID number)
• Fixed or percentage surcharge with minimum and maximum, minimum and maximum order amount, and default carrier
• Rules by zone, carrier and amount: a different surcharge, no surcharge or no cash on delivery
• SMS or WhatsApp verification with Twilio, Vonage, Infobip, Brevo, LabsMobile, Altiria or Meta's WhatsApp API
• Order limits per phone number and per IP, and a list of blocked phone numbers, emails and IPs

Customer journey

1. On the product page, the customer clicks «Order now, pay on delivery» and a short form opens with the summary and the total including the surcharge.
2. They enter their name, phone number and address; if verification is enabled, they type in the code received by SMS or WhatsApp.
3. They confirm, and the order is created in PrestaShop like any other, awaiting cash on delivery payment, with no cart, no account and no checkout.
