Which PrestaShop versions does this image compressor support?

It works with PrestaShop 1.7.0 to 9.2 and is multistore compatible. It compresses your store's JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP images. It also compresses AVIF images if the server's PHP has the imageavif extension.

Can I choose how much images are compressed and exclude some of them?

Yes. You can set the reduction percentage for JPG and JPEG images and the reduction value for PNG images. You can also exclude specific images or entire folders from compression. The module scans your store to find the images that need compressing.

Does it automatically compress new product images?

Yes, if you enable the LG_REQUALITY_AUTO option. The module then automatically compresses product thumbnails when you upload or regenerate them. This automatic compression does not modify the original product image: only the thumbnails generated from it are optimized.

Can I restore the original image if I don't like the result?

Yes. Before compressing each image, the module saves a backup of the original, and you can restore it from that backup. The module panel shows how much space the backups take up, and you can delete them all in one click when you no longer need them.

Does the module process customers' personal data?

No, the module does not process personal data. It scans and compresses your store's JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP images and saves backups of the originals. It is multistore compatible on PrestaShop 1.7.0 to 9.2.
