About expert reviews

Google values the experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) of whoever recommends a product. A review signed by a real expert, with their credentials, provides exactly that signal.
The module adds schema.org Review markup with a Person author on the product page and a ProfilePage on each expert's page. It does not add aggregateRating, so it coexists with your customer reviews without duplicating stars.

How to use it

Add your experts with photo, job title, bio and professional profiles, and set up rating criteria if you want them (quality, value for money, design…).
On each product, the expert signs their review with pros and cons, review date and rating. You can assign the same review to a whole category or brand in one go.
The review is shown on the product page (tab, bottom of the page or custom hook), with the “Reviewed by” block next to the price and the “Reviewed by an expert” badge in product listings.

Frequently asked questions

Which PrestaShop versions does the Línea Gráfica expert reviews module support?

It works with PrestaShop 1.7 to 9.2 and supports multistore. It is translated into Spanish, English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish. From the back office, you can export the expert and review lists to CSV.

What structured data does it add to the product page for Google?

It adds Product structured data with Review and a Person author, and includes the pros and cons of each review. It does not add aggregateRating, so it won't overwrite the star ratings from your customer reviews. Each expert's public page also carries ProfilePage structured data.

What information can I show for each expert?

You can create expert profiles with name, job title, photo and description, and add links to their blog, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. When you save the photo, it is resized to a maximum of 300 px. Each expert has a public page with their reviews.

How is each expert review structured and scored?

Each review has a title, text, rating and review date, plus pros and cons, one per line. You can create rating criteria and score the review on each one. The overall rating is the average of those criteria, on a scale of 0 to 5 or 0 to 10.

Where are expert reviews displayed in the store?

They appear at the bottom of the product page, in a tab, in a dedicated hook or in a carousel. The module also shows a “Reviewed by” block next to the price, with the expert and the review date, and an expert-reviewed badge on products in listings.

Can I assign the same expert review to several products at once?

Yes, you can assign the same review to all products in a category or brand. The module prevents an expert from reviewing the same product twice in the same store. With a shortcode, you can also insert a product's reviews into CMS pages.
