  • Set the sharpness level of your images from three options: Normal, High or Very High Sharpness.
  • Choose whether to convert your images to Webp format.
  • You can also disable the module from the settings area.

Improve the quality of your store's images and convert them to Webp. Webp is the format recommended by Google, which means Google will reward your store for using it. In the module settings you can test how your store's images improve.

Once you save your changes, don't forget to regenerate your images, either with PrestaShop's native option or with a module such as the one we offer at Línea Gráfica: Prestashop Regenerate Thumbnails / Images Module

Requirements:

  1. To work properly, the module requires PHP 5 > 5.5.0 or PHP 7 as a minimum.
  2. To use the advanced WebP conversion features, your server must have the "WebP Support" option enabled in PHP's GD library configuration.

You should also know which browser versions support Webp.

  • Chrome supports webp from version 32
  • Edge supports webp from version 18
  • Safari supports webp from version 16.0
  • Firefox supports webp from version 65
  • Opera supports webp from version 19
