Advantages for your clients

Make it easier for your customers to find the products they are most interested in. This module is essential for catalogues with a large number of products.

Advantages for you

  • Choose a different order by category

This module allows you to change the order of products in the front-office and highlight groups of products to increase sales and increase end-customer satisfaction. The module only allows you to order the products of your:

  • categories
  • subcategories
  • cover (if you use the native module «Featured Products on the Home Page»from PrestaShop»)

The module automatically detects your home page and all your category and subcategory pages and allows you to define a different order for each page (each page has its own custom order).

Note:The module CANNOT sort products on your manufacturer or supplier pages (only in product categories and subcategories)

  • Regeneration cron for large catalogs

Speed up loading speed. If you enable this option, reordering will be done through a cron that you must set in your system, categories affected by a product's changes will be queued for reordering.

Note: Only available for v1.7

  • For all types of catalogs

This is the easiest way to sort all your products in bulk. This module is ideal for managing catalogs with hundreds or thousands of products and allows you to improve the order of the products.

It is important to note that if you have a large number of product categories, you may need to increase the value of the "max_input_vars" variable on your server in order to sort these categories (the "max_input_vars" must be greater than the number of products contained within the selected category).

  • Relative to the home page

Our module is able to sort the products displayed on the store home page via the native PrestaShop module «Featured Products on the Home Page» (homefeatured). If you use another module to display products on the home page, our module will not be able to change the display order of the products.

  • Regarding multi-store mode

The module applies the same order to categories common to several stores; it is not possible to choose a different order for the same category from one store to another.
