Decide who sees them: customer groups (pay in 30 days only for businesses), countries, carriers, currencies and order amount. The instructions reach the customer on the confirmation page, in the order history and by email.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eFee or discount depending on how they pay\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eYou can also add a surcharge or a discount (fixed, percentage or both, with a minimum and a maximum) to any payment method of your shop, yours or another module's: −3% for bank transfer, +€1.50 for instalments… The customer sees the amount next to each payment method and the total before paying. The surcharge goes in as an order line with its tax and the discount as a voucher, so they appear correctly in the cart, the order, the invoice and the credit slips, without tweaking the totals behind the scenes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eRight on the invoice and the credit slips\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd to save you support calls: the module warns you about rules that never apply, disabled payment methods, surcharges without tax or modules that already charge their own fee (such as the cash on delivery of lgcodform, which never gets a second one), and shows a preview of the amount while you create the rule.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eImportant (PSD2): in the European Union you cannot charge consumers a surcharge for paying by card, or by bank transfer or direct debit in euros. The module reminds you of this in its settings.
